Qu: Am I really a sinner?
Ans.: YES!
Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God..."
Qu: Why is giving my life to God through Jesus Christ so important?
Ans: Because of the fall of man (male and female), man fell away from relationship with God by choosing to disobey God. Genesis 2. God's love for man caused him to send his only Son to redeem us (buy us back) to be presented back to himself (God). The Bible says that the wages (pay) for sin is death (Romans 6:23a). Man's disobedience demanded that deserved death. However, God still loves man (you) and he wants his original plan for man; eternally life, to live forever with him (God)! Romans 6: 23b) says, "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
A Promise from God:John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Qu.: What do you have to do to get this free gift and to be saved?
Ans.: With a sincere (for real) heart, confess and believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ! Believe that everything written in God's Word about him is true and that Jesus did all that the Bible says he did.
Qu: What should my confession be?
Romans 10: 9-10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Just in case you think this is you doing this, think again, it's God's love drawing you back to himself through his Son, Jesus Christ.
John 6:44 - [Jesus said,] "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
That's why you must receive your free gift so that Christ can save you and raise you (up into the heavens to be with God) at the last day. We are in the last days!

THE PRAYER OF SALVATION
Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner and that I am ready to receive my free gift of Salvation from you. With a sincere heart I ask that you forgive me of all my sins now because I believe that the Lord, Jesus Christ is real. I believe that he is your only begotten Son and I believe that he died, gave his life to save me. I believe that you, God, has raised him up from the dead, and that he is with you now, alive in Heaven, preparing a place for me where I too will be when he raises me up on the last day. I will be with you too, I do believe. Thank you for this free gift of salvation and for dying on the cross for me and for loving me. Father, teach me all that I need to know in the time I have so that I may live a new life that pleases you, renew my mind so that I will understand you and spiritual things that pertain to you. Thank you Father.

Dear God, here I am at a time in my life where I realize that I've not lived the life I should. I realize that I really don't know you and I don't know how to serve you. I confess that I've been separated from you so long because of my sins. Today, I choose to believe in you and I want to know you. I am receiving your only Son, Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
God thank you for loving me despite all my sins. Lord Jesus, come into my life, let me feel your love and shepherd me now. Fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I may know you, your peace and your comfort. Holy Spirit, teach me and give me understanding of the spiritual things of God. Give me your knowledge, wisdom and understanding of God's Word. Thank you Lord, for forgiving me of my sins and for saving me, in Jesus' name I pray, amen!
Qu: That's it?
Ans: Yes! That's all you have to do to receive your free gift of Salvation. Now build upon it by praying ((talking to God) and reading The Bible and go to a Bible teaching and believing Church. God will teach you the rest!

FYI - I know it can feel like things are still the same but believe you me, it's not. Your faith (believing it is true) will soon begin to show you that it is all real, no matter what just believe!
Next Steps:
Step # 2 - Pray (not sure how, ask The Holy Spirit to teach you (believe you can - do it)! Just start talking to God the best you know how that's prayer (talking to God). Pray that God will lead you to a Bible believing, teaching and preaching church where Jesus is Lord!
Step # 3 - When he leads you to that church, tell them you've already given your life to Christ and that you want to get water baptized in Jesus' name.
Step # 4 - Give your membership, you need a place to start growing (roots in Christ).
The Holy Spirit will guide you in every step. Be patient with God as many churches have different programs for new comers. Stay excited about this day (start a journal and write it in it) and enjoy it as these are the beginning steps of becoming a Christian. Be determine to grow, grow in the knowledge, wisdom and understanding of God's Word! Again, enjoy your free gift and CONGRATULATIONS!
